BW006X - Halifax 1962 Leyland Leopard Bus in 1976

A monochrome photo of a 1962 L1/Weymann bodied, Metro Calderdale liveried Leyland Leopard bus, Route: 16, Destination Blackshaw Head, pulls out of Great Albion Street as it makes its turn into the old Halifax Crossfields Bus Station. The bus is fleet number 3232 and registration plate PJX232. The bus is a 'Pay as you Enter' and has a windscreen sticker reading 'Metrocard Bus', a flashback to the Metrocard bus passes that were popular at the time. An interesting look at an everyday bus station scene in the 70's. (order ref: bw006x)
