Halifax 1965 Leyland Titan Bus - BW012X

A period street scene in Halifax town in 1976. A 1965 Roe bodied, Metro Calderdale liveried Leyland Titan bus, Route: 25, Destination Wainstalls, pulls out of Great Albion Street as it leaves the old Halifax Crossfields Bus Station. The bus is fleet number 305 and registration plate CCP159C and has just departed the bus station via Great Albion Street, and it is seen here laden with passengers as it crosses St James Road, just about to turn up Victoria street towards Pellon lane to its destination Wainstalls via Mount Tabor. An interesting look at an everyday bus station scene in the 70's. (order ref: bw012x)
